5. HealthKit and Health Data
If you connect Apple Health, NutriCise AI may read health data solely to provide health and fitness-related functionality.
Health data collected through HealthKit is not used for advertising, marketing, or data-mining purposes, and it is not sold to third parties.
You can revoke Health permissions at any time through your device settings.
6. Camera, Barcode, OCR, and Food Image Processing
When you use barcode scanning, OCR, or food image analysis features, the app may process images or extracted text to:

Read nutrition information
Analyze ingredients
Help create food entries
Improve convenience and logging accuracy
Images and extracted text may be temporarily processed to provide these features. We recommend that you avoid uploading sensitive personal documents or unrelated images.
